Miracle? You decide…

Thanks to Jesus life has become a lot warmer.

Why?

I’m glad you asked. Let me explain about my miracle healing.

On Monday, October 22, 2012 my son, his friend,  and I attended Zion Gospel Temple in East Providence, Rhode Island, where Evangelist Ted Shuttelsworth was preaching.

As I sat in the third row, in the third seat, Mr. Shuttlesworth walked in front of me and pointed.  After stating that the anointing was upon him, he asked me my name.

I told him.

Then he said: “God is going to raise your blood pressure so you’re not freezing all the time. Okay?”

I heard my son giggle as he told his friend, “My mom is always cold.”

Miraculously, the second after I nodded, I felt liquid rising up my calves to my knees as if someone was pouring something into me. What an amazing feeling!

Then Ted turned and began to speak to my son. As parents do, when it comes to our children, we ignore our own needs. Such as I did.

So, why am I posting this now?

A recent visit to my doctor confirmed my healing. Before the nurse took my blood pressure, I asked, “What is my normal blood pressure?” After looking at my chart, she told me.

My normal blood pressure is: 108/70

However, that day, my blood pressure read:

My blood pressure that day: 120/80

Miracle?

You decide.

But I will tell you that my blood pressure has never been perfect! My regular physician’s nurse, who I will visit in March, always shakes her head and giggles with a response, “Your blood pressure is like a child’s.”  Needless to say, I cannot wait for my March appointment. :)

All my life I was told, “You’re always cold because you have no meat on your bones.” Guess those people were wrong! It goes to show you God knows more than we do. And when he touches you, he doesn’t do a half fast job.

Thank you, Jesus!

Interested in hearing more about Ted Shuttlesworth?

In 2011 he stated that 2012 was going to be a year of order. Now, I don’t know about you, but 2012 was one of the best years of my life. And when I think about  it… Yes, it was put in order. My career, my finances, and mainly my family!

How about you?

I spoke with a guy who said 2012 was the worst year of his life, but after he thought about it, he said, “God could be setting me up to where all the Bad will turn into Good in 2013.”

What did he mean by this?

Ted Shuttlesworth states: * “God is going to take that which is BAD and turn it into GOOD for his children this year. 2013 will be known as a year of intensity and acceleration.” (click here to read about your finances this year)

I hope you all have a wonderful 2013 and may God turn your BAD into GOOD!

Happy New Year!!

Have a fun day!

Hey, Folks,tpg cover

Can you imagine another year has already begun?

For me, 2012 will always be a year to remember for so many reasons. I am looking forward to an even better 2013.

I hope you will enjoy what I have planned for the coming year. Since I am not a blogger, as you can tell from my site, I’ve decided to be a guest blogger on several sites at the end of each month for the entire year.

Thanks to some wonderful friends, I already have the year booked. You can view the tour at the top of the side bar. Don’t forget to FOLLOW the blogs as you visit. :)

Each month you will have a chance to win an e-book of THE PATRIOT GIRL. At the end of the year, there will be a special THANK  YOU giveaway to ONE lucky commentator .

I’m sorry to say :( that the giveaway can ONLY be shipped within the USA. That doesn’t exclude my overseas followers. If you have a relative or a friend in the USA you’d like to surprise with a special  gift, I’d be more than happy to have it shipped to that person.

So how can you win a FREE book and/or the GRAND PRIZE?

If you visit  and comment on the blog I am on for the month, your name will be added into a drawing. One winner from each blog will be chosen that month for the FREE book. Your name will be placed in the hat for a chance at the grand prize.

BE SURE TO LEAVE YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION when you comment.

The more blogs you visit within the year, the more chances you have to win. That means you could have TWELVE (12) chances to win the grand prize!

So what is the grand prize? Thank you gift

A $35.oo gift basket from Wine and country gift basket. This is what I would like to send. I say “like” because I’m not sure if this will be available in January 2014 when the winner will be announced. Items might change so I don’t want to be committed to this particular basket. I do love the bear and hope he will be available.  I posted the picture to give you  an idea of what to expect.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope to see you on the tour!

Have a fun day!

BlogFEST 2012 – Online College Courses

Do you think online college courses are worth the money?

I would say YES if the college has trained teachers-unlike my experience .

When the President decided to give the American people a stimulus check, I pondered what I would do with the money.

I love to learn. So after a few ideas, I decided to go with a Freelance Writing course through Penn Foster Career School.

I couldn’t wait to receive my first assignment in the mail. As a stay-at-home Mom, I had my days free to focus on my education.

The first set of instructions arrived: Learning Strategies and Freelance Life – I read the book from cover to cover. Then I went online and took the test.

I LOVED the convenience of learning on my own time and not having to leave the house. If I had a question, I picked up the phone and spoke to Carol, who was VERY helpful.

There were several times when I had to mail in my assignment. As the grades started to arrive, my love for this course turned to irritation. The teacher had marked correct answers wrong. I called Carol who was apologetic and straightened things out.

When it came time for the final exam, again, the teacher had no idea what editors were accepting in the current market!

For example: I had to write the name of a publisher where I would be sending my novel. I answered Sourcebooks because at that time, they had just started accepting romance novels. The teacher commented that Sourcebooks only accepts non-fiction manuscripts and that I should do my research.

Really?

Again, I called Carol and gave her an update on the current publishing industry, what editors and agents accepted in a query, and why my 87 should have been a higher grade. She offered to regrade the entire project, because there were several issues that needed to be corrected. However, I declined because I didn’t take the course for a grade…I ordered the course to learn my craft so I could someday have a romance novel published!

With no thanks to Penn Foster, I sold the story I had used for my assignment.

As you can see, my diploma is neither framed nor hanging on a wall.

I should have sent Penn Foster a diploma to hang on their wall for learning more than I did!

YES, I did bring this matter to the Dean’s attention and never heard back! I did notice years after, the course had been eliminated. Now, it is back and hopefully with updated books and more knowledgeable teachers.

So have you taken an online course? If so, share your experience. I look forward to reading your comments!

Five Star Review for THE PATRIOT GIRL

 The Romance Review

I opened my email last week to find a message in my email box that THE PATRIOT GIRL has been reveiwed by The Romance Reviews.

My heart stopped, my stomach knotted, and I suddenly became a little ill. You never know what you’re going to read. I didn’t want to read the review, as always, but because I need to thank the reviewer, I was obligated to at least go to the site!

If you click on the TOP PICK image above it will bring you to the review, but here is a little clip:

“This is a book that I would not mind reading again and again as it just brings peace to your heart in seeing two people trying to become a couple after a horrible, tragic accident. I can’t recommend it enough; it was truly an amazing read.”

THANK YOU, COZYREADER, for a great review!

Have a fun day!
